Alice cast in ‘Carla’s Pyschosis’ CORONATION STREET SPECIAL!

Alice is thrilled to be part of a very special mental health Coronation Street episode which explored the extent of Carla Connor’s (Alison King) psychosis.. since the collapse of the factory roof, and her blaming herself for Rana’s death.
The usual Corrie format was changed to a single-strand episode that didn’t cut to other stories.. and it was told from Carla’s perspective, to help viewers to truly immerse themselves in her damaged psyche.
Alice plays the character of a woman in the park who Carla finds and thinks can help her cut out a micro chip which she believes has been planted in her ear.
The stand alone episode was given a cinematic feel with the lighting and colouring, to conjure a mood consistent with Carla’s mental state. It was a really heartbreaking and profound episode – To be first screened ITV 31/5/19
